We take your privacy seriously. Here's exactly how we handle your data.
Welcome to SnapSolve ("we", "our", "us"). SnapSolve is an AI-powered homework help application designed for students in Kindergarten to Class 12 in India. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our users, including minors.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SnapSolve, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you sign in with Google, we collect:
Parents or guardians create profiles for their children. This includes:
We do not collect the child's email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
When you submit a homework question, we process:
We automatically collect limited usage data including app version, device type (not device ID), and crash logs to improve app stability.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:
Homework questions (text and images) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate answers. Google processes this data per their Privacy Policy. We do not send personally identifiable information (names, email) to Gemini — only the homework content.
We use Firebase Authentication (sign-in), Firestore (cloud data sync), and Firebase Storage (image upload). All Firebase services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store card or payment details. Razorpay's Privacy Policy applies to payment transactions.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
SnapSolve is designed for students aged 11 and above. We require parental/guardian consent for students under 13. By creating a child profile, the parent or guardian consents to the collection of the child's profile data as described in this policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately at privacy@snapsolve.app.
Your data is stored in two places:
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Firebase enforces Firestore security rules that ensure each user can only access their own data.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@snapsolve.app. We will respond within 30 days.
